Updated Practice Note SC CL 2 - Criminal Proceedings
The Chief Justice has reissued Practice Note SC CL 2 – Criminal Proceedings. The revised Practice Note commences operation 1 May 2021. It was last reissued on 21 September 2020.
The main changes are:
- Increasing the timeframe in which to serve documents;
- Clarifying that the prosecution must include a statement where post-offence conduct is relied upon; and
- Updating the types of matters that may be brought before the Court.
