Updated Practice Notes governing Corporations law and Bail applications

On 18 December 2018, the Chief Justice amended the Practice Notes governing Corporations law and Bail applications.

The updated Corporations List Practice Note (SC Eq 4) is effective from 18 December 2018. The new content outlines the use of Online Court in the Registrar's list, along with some other changes.

The updated Bail Practice Note (SC CL 11) comes into effect on 3 June 2019. The updated Practice Note explains in detail how a bail application should be prepared and filed and the steps required in the lead up to a court hearing. The practices and procedures set out in the Practice Note are aimed at ensuring, as much as possible, the Court can bail applications within 20 days of the first call-over listing.
